Color Guard!

What is Color Guard?

The Highlander Band Color Guard are the featured performers providing visual impact to the marching band productions.  They perform at all the half time shows during football season, as well as pep rallies and marching competitions.  

What Is Winter Guard?  

During the Spring semester, the Color Guard becomes the Winter Guard and performs as an indoor production ensemble competing in shows both locally and nationally. 

What do I do as a Guard member?

The skills you will learn include dance, flag and rifle training.  You will accompany the marching band to the various competitions and get to enjoy the fun, welcoming camaraderie of band life.

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!!

All training and props are provided and you will receive a full PE credit!

 How Do I get Involved?

Color Guard and Winter Guard are open to all students from 8-12 grade.
